Indian equities are likely to witness stock-specific action on 2 July as companies across banking, pharmaceuticals, retail, infrastructure and manufacturing announced operational updates, business performance and regulatory developments. Quarterly business numbers, contract wins and corporate announcements are expected to influence individual share price movements during the session.

Banking Stocks Report Business Growth

Indian Bank share price will be in focus after the lender reported a 13.6% year-on-year rise in total business to ₹15.28 lakh crore for the June quarter. Gross advances increased 13.9% to ₹6.85 lakh crore, while deposits rose 13.3% to ₹8.43 lakh crore. The domestic CASA ratio improved to 39.64% from 38.97% a year earlier.

Tamilnad Mercantile Bank share price will also remain on investors’ radar after the bank posted a 23.04% increase in total business to ₹1.21 lakh crore. Deposits climbed 19.7% to ₹64,409 crore, while gross advances rose 27.01% to ₹57,306 crore. Punjab & Sind Bank, South Indian Bank and Dhanlaxmi Bank also reported higher business and advances for the quarter.

Lupin, Bharti Airtel and Sai Parenterals Announce Key Updates

Lupin share price may attract attention after the company said the U.S. Food and Drug Administration issued an Establishment Inspection Report for its Somerset, New Jersey facility with a Voluntary Action Indicated classification following an inspection conducted in April 2026. Separately, the European Medicines Agency approved two additional dosage strengths for NaMuscla.

Bharti Airtel share price will be tracked after its subsidiary, Airtel Money, commenced commercial operations as a Type II non-deposit-taking non-banking financial company.

Sai Parenterals share price is expected to remain in focus after its Australian subsidiary renewed an exclusive over-the-counter medicines supply agreement valued at AUD 202 million, or about ₹1,300 crore, over seven and a half years, with an option to extend the arrangement by another three years upon mutual agreement.

Retail, Auto and Industrial Companies Report Business Updates

V-Mart share price could see action after the retailer reported a 23% rise in first-quarter revenue to ₹1,089 crore. Same-store sales growth improved to 9%, while the company added 15 stores during the quarter.

Ashiana Housing share price will also be watched after bookings declined to 3.61 lakh sq ft from 5.95 lakh sq ft a year earlier, while the value of units sold fell to ₹357.8 crore.

Among other updates, Force Motors reported a 23.5% increase in June vehicle sales, NMDC recorded higher iron ore production and sales, and Coal India received a ₹2,831.11 crore Letter of Award for developing a 600 MW solar power project.

Other Stocks in Focus

The share price of CSM Technologies will be monitored post the listing on the main board. Tata Technologies entered into an agreement with Tenneco LLC for five years at a cost of more than $100 million, while Hero MotoCorp set up a new global parts center in Andhra Pradesh with investments of more than ₹750 crore.
